Lemon pepper rub

A good spice rub gives meat, fish and vegetables that certain something - and our lemon pepper rub brings just the right blend of freshness and spiciness to the barbecue. The combination of spicy pepper and tangy lemon creates a unique flavor that goes particularly well with poultry, fish or even grilled vegetables. Ingredients
Quantity 1 KG meat/fish
FOR THE RUB
  • 2 tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 2 tbsp brown cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp jalapeno pepper
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

Preparation

  1. Process all the ingredients into a dry spice mixture (rub) using the compact food processor.
  2. Seal airtight until ready to use and store in a cool, dry place, ideally in vacuum containers. Properly packaged, the rub will keep for at least two months.
