3 vegan dips

Avocado dip

Avocados are versatile, whether as guacamole, on bread or as a creamy dip. They are full of vitamins. They contain vitamins E, B6 and D, as well as valuable minerals such as potassium. Find out how you can prepare a delicious avocado dip now!

Preparation

  1. Cut the lemon in half and then squeeze.
  2. Then remove the pit from the avocados and scoop them out. Place the inside of the avocados in a bowl and mash with a spoon or fork.
  3. Then add 4 tablespoons of the squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Wash and chop the parsley and onion.
  5. Chop or crush the garlic.
  6. Now mix all the ingredients together and season the dip with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  • 250 g roasted/grilled peppers (available in a jar)
  • 1 teaspoon tomato puree
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 6 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar (alternatively: lemon juice)
  • 1 pinch of paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of cumin

Walnut paprika dip

Walnuts are real all-rounders. Not only are they healthy and good for the body, they can also be used to conjure up many delicious dishes. Such as dips for nachos, bread or vegetable sticks. Together with peppers and a few other ingredients, perfect for the next evening with friends and/or family.

Preparation

  1. Heat the paprika powder and cumin in a pan with the olive oil.
  2. Then add the remaining ingredients to your blender and blend.
  3. Now add the olive oil from the pan to the blender. It is best to let the olive oil cool slightly before adding it to the blender.
  4. Then mix all the ingredients again. If the finished dip is still too thick, add 1-2 teaspoons of water.
  5. You can then serve your dip.

  • ½ cup black beluga lentils (soak overnight beforehand)
  • 2 beet tubers (peeled and cut into pieces)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 teaspoons tahini paste
  • 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • A little grated lemon zest

Beet and lentil hummus

Do you love hummus? Then this dip is just the thing for you. The beet gives it a bright color – but the dip isn’t just pretty to look at, it’s also pretty tasty and, above all, very healthy. Why not try it out for yourself!

Preparation

  1. Soak the lentils overnight and drain the next morning.
  2. First peel the beet.
  3. Then place the peeled beet and lentils in a saucepan and add 1 cup of water. Wait until the water boils.
  4. Then simmer at a reduced temperature for approx. 15 – 20 minutes. The water should be completely absorbed.
  5. Now chop the garlic clove and put it in the blender. Then add the tahini paste, lemon juice and oil to the blender.
  6. Now mix all the ingredients.
  7. Finally, add the lentils and beet and blend all the ingredients again until it has a creamy consistency.
  8. Now it’s time to serve and enjoy!
