Homemade mango and lime lemonade
The refreshing mango-ginger-lime is the perfect thirst quencher for hot summer days. The sweet freshness of the mango, the spicy heat of the ginger and the tangy acidity of the lime create a harmonious and invigorating taste experience.

- 1 ripe mango
- 1 piece of ginger (approx. 3 cm)
- 2 limes
- 1 liter of water
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar or honey (to taste)
- Ice cubes
- fresh mint leaves (optional)
Preparation
- Peel the mango, remove the flesh from the stone and cut into pieces.
- Peel and finely grate the ginger.
- Squeeze the limes and collect the juice.
- Place the mango pieces, grated ginger and lime juice in a blender. add 500 ml water and blend well until smooth.
- Pour the puréed mixture through a fine sieve into a large carafe or jug to remove any remaining pulp.
- Add the sugar or honey and stir well until it has dissolved. Add the remaining 500 ml water and stir again.
- Leave the lemonade to cool in the fridge for approx. 10 minutes.
- To serve, pour the lemonade into glasses, add ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves as desired.
