Ingredients
Ingredients
Puff pastry with ham, cheese & salami
- 1 roll of puff pastry from the chiller cabinet
- 1 shallot
- 100 g cooked ham
- 50 g salami
- 4 tbsp crème fraîche
- 100 g grated Gouda cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt, pepper, herbs to taste
Preparation
- Roll out the puff pastry and set aside for later so that it can come to room temperature. Also preheat the oven to 220°C with top/bottom heat.
- Chop the shallot, ham and salami and separate the egg.
- Take a bowl and mix together the shallot, ham, salami, crème fraîche, grated Gouda and egg white and season with salt, pepper and herbs to taste.
- You can now cut the puff pastry in half lengthways so that the snails are not too big in the oven.
- Spread the prepared mixture evenly over the two strips of puff pastry and then roll up the two strips.
- Brush the two resulting rolls with the remaining egg yolk and then cut into pieces.
- Spread the pieces on a baking tray with the opening facing upwards and bake for 15 – 18 minutes.
