Beer bread

From the bottle straight into the bread. Homemade is becoming increasingly popular. Whether it's planting food, building furniture or baking bread, making things yourself is becoming a trend. And when it comes to baking and cooking, you'll find a wide range of different recipes here. Today we have another delicious homemade bread for you. Whether with a barbecue, currywurst or a stew. The dough for this hearty bread is made with beer. The special but subtle taste depends on the type of beer you choose. Perhaps the bread will be on the table at your next barbecue. Ingredients
Ingredients for 1 loaf
  • 400 g wheat flour 405
  • 200 g wholemeal wheat flour
  • 400 ml malt beer (other beer also possible)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups of fried onions
  • 1 bag of baking powder

Preparation

  1. For the dough, mix all the ingredients together and shape into a loaf. Cut into the top.
  2. Bake in the oven at 200 °C for 55 minutes.
  3. During baking, place an additional cup of water in the oven next to the bread.
  4. If there is any beer left, enjoy it while baking.
