Winter barbecue: Baked apple from the grill
And here comes the last recipe from the winter barbecue series. To go with the mulled fruit wine from our Spuma winter series, here is the snack with a Christmas market feeling.

Ingredients for 4 portions
- 4 apples
- 50 g butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 handful of cranberries
- 1 handful pecans
- 1 handful of almonds
- 5 dates
- 4 cinnamon sticks
Introduction
Baked apple. In this recipe, prepared on the barbecue with dates, almonds and cinnamon sticks. Fire up the barbecue one last time and enjoy your own little Christmas market with mulled fruit wine and baked apple.
Preparation
- Wash the apples and cut out the cores.
- For the filling, mix the butter, dates, cranberries, pecan nuts and almonds with the sugar in a food processor until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Preheat the grill to 200 °C.
- Pour the filling into the apples and insert a cinnamon stick into each.
- Cook the apples on the preheated grill for approx. 30 minutes.
