Toast muffins for breakfast

These little "cakes" combine everything you need for a delicious breakfast in a single small muffin. Are you a vegetarian? No problem, just leave out the bacon and the delicious breakfast muffin is a pure morning treat for you too.

Toast muffins for breakfast
- 6 slices of sandwich toast
- 6 strips of bacon
- 6 eggs
- 1 tomato
- 6 tbsp grated cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
- Lightly grease the muffin tins.
- Press one slice of toast per muffin into the muffin tin and line with a slice of bacon. It is best to cut this in half and place the two halves crossed over the toast.
- Cut the tomato into 6 slices, place a slice on each muffin and sprinkle with about 1 tbsp of grated cheese.
- Crack 1 egg into each muffin, season with salt and pepper and bake at 180 °C until the egg sets.
