Broccoli patties with quinoa

In this recipe, you will learn how to make delicious broccoli and cheese patties with quinoa at home. Perfect for a snack or as a patty for your burger. Shape, grill and enjoy!

Broccoli patties with quinoa
- 1 head of broccoli (approx. 350 g)
- 100 g quinoa
- 100 g grated cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Salt & pepper
- Oil
Preparation
- Wash the broccoli and peel the stalk.
- Roughly chop the whole broccoli and place in boiling water for about 7-10 minutes
- Remove the broccoli from the boiling water, rinse with cold water and set aside to drain.
- bring 200 ml salted water to the boil in a pan.
- Add the quinoa, turn the heat down to medium and cover the pan. Then simmer the quinoa for about 15 minutes until the water is completely absorbed (stirring occasionally to prevent it from burning). Then leave to cool briefly.
- Place the broccoli, quinoa, finely grated cheese and egg in a food processor.
- Crush the garlic cloves and add.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Finely chop the ingredients.
- Form about 10 patties from the dough.
- Fry the finished patties for approx. 5 minutes per side on the grill or alternatively in a pan with a little oil until golden brown.
