Coffee panna cotta
Coffee panna cotta is a tempting dessert that combines the creamy texture of classic panna cotta with the aromatic taste of filter coffee. This delicious dessert is easy to prepare and makes for a perfect end to any meal. Served with freshly whipped cream and a pinch of cocoa powder, it is a real treat!

Ingredients
- 400 ml cream
- 100 ml filter coffee (strong brewed)
- 80 g sugar
- 2 sheets of gelatine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100 ml whipped cream
- Cocoa powder or chocolate chips
Preparation
- Prepare the gelatine: Soak the gelatine leaves in cold water for approx. 5-10 minutes until they are soft.
- Make the coffee and cream mixture: In a saucepan, combine the cream, filter coffee, sugar and vanilla extract. Heat over a medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. The mixture should not boil.
- Add the gelatine: Remove the pan from the heat and squeeze out the gelatine leaves. Stir the gelatine into the warm coffee and cream mixture until it has completely dissolved.
- Pour into ramekins: Pour the mixture evenly into small ramekins or glasses. Leave to cool slightly at room temperature before placing in the fridge for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until firm.
- Serve: Whip the whipped cream until stiff before serving. Carefully turn the panna cotta out onto a plate or serve it straight from the glass. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
