Shaping training at SEVERIN together

We are currently training for nine different professions. From traditional industrial professions to commercial professions and retail.

Many exciting SEVERIN careers began in recent years and decades with an apprenticeship in Sundern. But the current trainees also make a significant contribution to keeping the “store running”.

It is therefore extremely important for us to know the needs of our trainees and (wherever possible) to meet or even exceed them.

To this end, we have designed an annual trainee survey. All trainees are invited to take part in a survey. The possible topics are discussed in the group and possible measures are jointly derived. What can be implemented and by when is reflected back afterwards.

Sounds very theoretical at first, but it is a matter close to our HR department’s heart. Last year, we were able to make a number of improvements to training at SEVERIN on the basis of feedback, which also really address the needs. Improvements to the training content, more frequent feedback, more contact persons in the departments and travel allowances are just some of the points that we were able to implement last year.

And of course the next survey is due in 2022. We are already looking forward to another great exchange at eye level with our specialists and managers of tomorrow!
