Fresh rolls with egg from the hot air fryer

As we all know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Especially on Saturdays or Sundays, I like to take time to have a hearty breakfast with my family or friends. The classic breakfast is bread rolls and eggs. Why not surprise your family and friends with homemade rolls? It's less effort than you think and homemade food usually tastes the best. Pop them in the hot air fryer and off you go. As a little extra, we'll tell you how to easily prepare the eggs in the air fryer while the rolls are still cooling down. Separately or in combination as a tasty egg roll, this breakfast almost only takes care of annoying crumbs in the air fryer and saves you the long clean-up after breakfast.

Ingredients
Ingredients for 10 rolls
Fresh rolls with egg
  • 320 ml lukewarm water
  • 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • 2 ½ tsp salt
  • 500 g flour
  • Toppings of your choice (sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds)

Preparation

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water.
  2. Add the flour and salt and knead well for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces on a floured surface. Shape the dough pieces into rolls, cut with a knife and leave to rise for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the buns with water. Optional: sprinkle toppings such as sesame seeds on the buns.
  5. Bake at 200 °C for approx. 20-25 minutes in the air fryer.
  6. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before eating.

For a delicious egg roll

Simply place fridge-cold eggs in the hot air fryer at 170 °C. After 7 minutes, the yolks will still be soft. Depending on the desired hardness of the yolk, cook the eggs a little longer in the air fryer.
