Ingredients
Ingredients for 1 portion
Fruit leather
- Ripe fruit
- Honey or agave syrup
Preparation
- Wash the fruit, remove the seeds if necessary and roughly chop. (Defrost frozen fruit beforehand.)
- Puree the fruit and fruit pieces in a blender to a fine, viscous pulp.
- Spread the fruit mixture evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper to a thickness of approx. ½ cm and smooth out.
- Leave to dry in the oven at 60° convection for several hours. Open the oven door slightly to allow the steam to escape. TIP: Put a wooden spoon between the door so that the door stays slightly open.
- The mixture should be dry after approx. 5 – 8 hours. When the fruit leather is no longer sticky and the surface is firm, it is ready.
- Peel off the finished fruit leather, cut into pieces and roll up into small rolls for storage and secure with a ribbon.
