Fruit leather

After healthy potato chips and juice, there's a healthy alternative to sweet gummy bears. Fruit leather not only looks great on a snack plate in small rolled-up portions, it also tastes damn good. The varieties are variable, so you can prepare it to suit your taste. Try it out and enjoy this healthy snack.

Fruit leather

  • Ripe fruit
  • Honey or agave syrup

Preparation

  1. Wash the fruit, remove the seeds if necessary and roughly chop. (Defrost frozen fruit beforehand.)
  2. Puree the fruit and fruit pieces in a blender to a fine, viscous pulp.
  3. Spread the fruit mixture evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper to a thickness of approx. ½ cm and smooth out.
  4. Leave to dry in the oven at 60° convection for several hours. Open the oven door slightly to allow the steam to escape. TIP: Put a wooden spoon between the door so that the door stays slightly open.
  5. The mixture should be dry after approx. 5 – 8 hours. When the fruit leather is no longer sticky and the surface is firm, it is ready.
  6. Peel off the finished fruit leather, cut into pieces and roll up into small rolls for storage and secure with a ribbon.

That’s what we stand for.
