Gin and melon sorbet
Are you planning a barbecue with friends or family and still need a refreshing recipe for dessert? Without feeling like you're going to burst afterwards? Then a sorbet is just the thing! But this dish can also be served wonderfully on other occasions. After all, what could be better on a warm summer's day than an ice-cold sorbet to cool you down? There are various sorbet recipes (with mango, peach, berry, etc.). Our sorbet is a special variant that contains gin in addition to the fruit (in this case melon). Compared to normal ice cream and parfait, sorbet is made without milk, but you can prepare it just as easily in an ice cream machine. It is also possible to make a parfait without an ice cream machine.

- Beat the egg whites and add them to the puree.
- Now put everything in an ice cream maker and then put it in the freezer for storage.
The great thing about this recipe is that you can swap the basic ingredients for other ingredients. Try using mango instead of melon. Ice cream and sorbet recipes give you plenty of scope for your own creative preparation 😉
