Gingerbread waffle fries
Whether for a special Sunday morning breakfast or just for in between, waffles in chips style are perfect for any occasion - they go down well everywhere. Britta has conjured up a delicious recipe for gingerbread waffle fries. And between you and me? Who can say no to some delicious gingerbread waffles during the Christmas season? Well, not me.

Ingredients
Ingredients for 144 waffle fries
- 330 g wheat flour
- 115 g sugar
- 140 g soft butter
- 10 g gingerbread spice
- 220 ml milk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 4 eggs
- Powdered sugar
Preparation
- Preheat the waffle iron.
- Place the ingredients for the batter in a bowl and mix together.
- Pour the batter into a piping bag and pour into the waffle iron in batches.
- Bake the waffle fries, then leave to cool on a rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
