Juicy flank steak with soy marinade
What goes better with summer than a nice barbecue? Cold drinks, a few side dishes and grilled meat. All of this is on the shopping list for most barbecue evenings. At some point, you realize that the same grilled sausage, the same minute steak and the same marinade are always used for barbecues. We want to change that with our recipe collection and are now adding another one to the many different recipes we already have. A juicy flank steak with a delicious soy marinade. With just a few ingredients, many of which you usually already have at home, that bring great flavor to the grill. Enjoy your meal!

Ingredients
Ingredients for 6 portions
Juicy flank steak with soy marinade
- 750 g flank steak
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Preparation
- mix 2 tbsp olive oil, sugar, garlic and sesame oil in a small bowl. Place the flank steak and marinade in a vacuum bag, spread the marinade over the steak and marinate for 1 hour at room temperature or up to 8 hours in the fridge.
- Preheat the grill to 500 °C, remove the steak from the marinade and pat dry.
- Brush both sides of the steak with 1 tablespoon of oil and grill over a high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Then cook the flank steak at 120°C to the desired core temperature. We recommend 55-56°C so that the flank steak is medium.
- Leave the flank steak to rest on a chopping board for 5 minutes. To serve, cut into thin slices against the grain.
