Yogurt and redcurrant popsicles

Ever heard of popsicles? The new summer recipe for hot days. And the best thing about it: you can easily make this recipe yourself at home and have your own homemade fruit popsicles in no time. The popsicles in this recipe are made from yogurt and redcurrants. You can decide for yourself how much yogurt and how much fruit you want in the popsicles. If you even have an ice cream maker with a yoghurt function or a yoghurt maker at home, you could also prepare the yoghurt yourself.

Ingredients
Ingredients for 6 portions
Yogurt and redcurrant popsicles
  • 200 g currants
  • 1 orange
  • 300 g mild yoghurt
  • 4 tbsp honey or similar
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • Popsicle molds for 6 pieces

Preparation

  1. Wash the currants thoroughly and set aside.
  2. Mix the yogurt with the sweetener.
  3. Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the yogurt.
  4. Squeeze the orange and puree together with the currants.
  5. Pour the puree into the ice cream molds about the width of a finger.
  6. Then add some of the yogurt mixture.
  7. Finally, add some more berry puree and stir.
  8. Use a wooden or other skewer as a handle and insert it into the middle of the mold.
  9. Place the molds in the freezer and leave to freeze for at least 12 hours (preferably overnight).
