Bacon Bomb
Today we have the perfect dish for meat lovers - a bacon bomb. Meat wrapped in bacon with a delicious BBQ sauce from the electric grill! We hope you enjoy making it!

Ingredients
Ingredients for 4-6 portions
FOR THE BACON BOMB
- 500 g minced beef,
- fresh from the butcher
- 100 g strong cheddar cubes
- 100 g grated Emmental cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- ½ SEVERIN Special-Rub,
- see recipe on page 169
- 8-10 slices of breakfast bacon
- 120 ml BBQ sauce
EXTRAS
- 1 watered smoking board
Preparation
- Preheat the grill to 500 °C with the lid open.
- Mix all the ingredients for the bacon bomb together. Place the bacon slices next to each other, slightly overlapping, place the meat at the bottom and roll up.
- Pat the smoking board dry and grill on the BoostZone with the lid open for several minutes to release the aroma. It must not burn!
- Then place the bacon bomb on top, insert the core temperature probe and set the desired target temperature (72-78 °C). Reduce the heat to 140 °C and grill the bacon bomb with the lid closed for 40-45 minutes.
- Brush the Bacon Bomb repeatedly with the BBQ sauce 10-15 minutes before the end of the grilling time until it has been used up (core temperature 72-78 °C).
