Grilled potatoes with fresh herbs
After all the meat and fish dishes, here's another delicious side dish from the grill. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and with fresh herbs in a honey and mustard sauce, grilled potatoes are more than just a side dish.

- 2 large potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted melted butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 10 g fresh herbs (e.g. rosemary, thyme, chives, dill)
Introduction
With just a few simple steps, they are a great side dish for a spontaneous barbecue evening and give you a free hand with your choice of herbs. Let off steam in the herb garden and throw the potatoes on the barbecue.
Preparation
- Preheat the grill to 200 °C.
- Cut the potatoes into 8 wedges each and mix in a bowl with the oil, salt and pepper.
- Add the potato wedges, mix well and grill for approx. 8-10 minutes with the lid closed, turning occasionally, until golden brown and tender.
- Place the potatoes in a bowl. Mix the butter and mustard and drizzle over the potatoes. Add the herbs, mix everything well and serve while still warm.
