Zucchini balls with parmesan from the hot air fryer
As spaghetti, stuffed and gratinated or even as pizza - zucchinis have become indispensable. The following recipe is very versatile. Zucchini balls with parmesan can be served as a starter or as a side dish to the main course. They also make a great snack and are a delicious addition to a buffet. Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 portions
- 400 g zucchini
- 1 egg
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 100 g ground almonds
- 1 clove of garlic
- ½ tsp pepper
- Salt
Preparation
- Wash and finely slice the zucchinis. Mix the sliced zucchinis with 1 tbsp salt and place in a sieve. Hang over a bowl and leave to drain for approx. 20 minutes. Press down occasionally with a kitchen towel.
- Crush the garlic and mix with the Parmesan, egg, pepper and almonds. Mix the egg mixture with the zucchini and shape into small balls.
- Bake the zucchini balls in the grill basket of the air fryer at 180 °C for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown. Turn the balls regularly.
