Sweet crêpes with caramelized cinnamon apples
For me, cinnamon is a wonderfully delicious all-rounder that is in season all year round. Whether with sugar on rice pudding or as the icing on the cake in my evening tea - I love the spice.

Ingredients for 10 portions
For the crêpes
- 2 eggs
- 470 ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 250 g flour
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the cinnamon apples
- 2 apples, e.g. Granny Smith
- 120 g sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp water
Introduction
Cinnamon especially in combination with juicy apples. And when fluffy crêpes are added to the mix, I’m in absolute dessert heaven. There’s still a place for you!
Preparation
- For the crêpes, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar and salt.
- Gradually stir in the flour.
- Add the oil and pass the batter through a sieve.
- Then leave to rest for 15 minutes.
- For the cinnamon apples, roughly dice the apples and mix in a pan with the sugar, cinnamon and water.
- Stir to dissolve the sugar.
- Then bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for a further 10 minutes until the apples are soft and the syrup has thickened.
- Preheat the crêpes maker to level 3.
- Pour the batter onto the crêpe maker in small portions and spread evenly.
- Bake the first side for approx. 30 seconds, turn the crêpe and bake the second side.
- Put the crêpes to one side and leave to cool.
- Roll up the finished crêpes and garnish with caramelized apples.
