Sweet crêpes with caramelized cinnamon apples

For me, cinnamon is a wonderfully delicious all-rounder that is in season all year round. Whether with sugar on rice pudding or as the icing on the cake in my evening tea - I love the spice.

Introduction

Cinnamon especially in combination with juicy apples. And when fluffy crêpes are added to the mix, I’m in absolute dessert heaven. There’s still a place for you!

Preparation

  1. For the crêpes, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar and salt.
  2. Gradually stir in the flour.
  3. Add the oil and pass the batter through a sieve.
  4. Then leave to rest for 15 minutes.
  5. For the cinnamon apples, roughly dice the apples and mix in a pan with the sugar, cinnamon and water.
  6. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  7. Then bring to the boil.
  8. Reduce the heat and simmer for a further 10 minutes until the apples are soft and the syrup has thickened.
  9. Preheat the crêpes maker to level 3.
  10. Pour the batter onto the crêpe maker in small portions and spread evenly.
  11. Bake the first side for approx. 30 seconds, turn the crêpe and bake the second side.
  12. Put the crêpes to one side and leave to cool.
  13. Roll up the finished crêpes and garnish with caramelized apples.
