Homemade muesli bars with cinnamon and coconut
The homemade trend is growing steadily. Whether it's homemade yogurt, home-made smoothies or muesli bars, the hype is here to stay. And that's a good thing, because it means you know which ingredients are included and don't have to worry about hidden additives. No unnecessary sugar, no flavor enhancers and they are also easy to prepare. The muesli bars are perfect for in-between meals and satisfy any cravings. Hungry? Then try them right away.

Muesli bar with cinnamon and coconut
- 300 g pitted dates
- 400 ml water
- 150 g sunflower seeds
- 200 g pumpkin seeds
- 200 g dried apricots
- 150 g linseed
- 60 g coconut flakes
- 180 g rolled oats
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat.
- Bring the water to the boil in a pan and simmer the dates for approx. 5-10 minutes until they are soft.
- Mix the sunflower seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds, chopped apricots, coconut and rolled oats in a bowl.
- Place the prepared dates, chia seeds and cinnamon in a food processor. Blend everything to a smooth mass (date puree).
- Add the date puree to the already mixed ingredients and mix in.
- Grease a large baking tray with coconut oil, spread the mixture evenly on it and place in the oven.
- After about 20 minutes, take out briefly, cut into bars and then put back in the oven for another 15 – 20 minutes.
