Step 1: Preheat SEVO
The perfect grilling temperature for burgers is between 200 and 260 degrees and is very easy to set using our digital OLED display. Preheating is super fast, as the grill even reaches 500 °C in just 10 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the burger patties.
Beef with a fat content of around 20% is suitable for homemade patties.
You can give free rein to your creativity when seasoning. However, salt and pepper should only be used after grilling, as this does not remove any moisture from the meat.
Burger patties can be formed by hand or with a burger press; around 180 grams per burger should be sufficient.
Step 3: Grilling
Now it gets exciting! The burger patties are grilled until crispy on both sides. The meat can be removed from the grill at a core temperature of 74 degrees. Incidentally, the temperature can be read off very easily using the core thermometer integrated in the SEVO.
Step 4: Serving
Even if you want to bite into the juicy meat straight away, patience pays off!
