Juicy ribeye with teriyaki marinade
Teriyaki - a method of preparation in Japanese cuisine. It involves marinating fish, meat and vegetables in a teriyaki sauce and then grilling, roasting or braising them on the barbecue or in a wok. I'll show you a recipe for this delicious marinade in this post with a tasty grilled ribeye. Enjoy your meal!

Juicy ribeye with teriyaki marinade
- 800 g ribeye (200 g per piece)
- 200 ml soy sauce
- 150 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 piece of ginger (walnut-sized)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 oranges
Preparation
- Peel and finely grate the ginger. Peel the garlic clove and press through a garlic press. Squeeze the oranges.
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade well.
- Rub the meat with the marinade and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
- Preheat the grill to 320 °C and grill the ribeye for 1.5 – 2 minutes on each side so that the marinade does not burn. Leave to marinate passively for a further 5 minutes, remove from the grill and garnish with sesame oil.
