- 2 eggs
- 60 g brown sugar
- 1.5 cups spelt flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 espressos
- 250 ml milk
- 5 tbsp melted butter (for the waffle iron)

Preparation
- Beat the eggs with the sugar.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder
- Mix into the egg and sugar mixture together with two espressos and the milk.
- Coat the waffle iron with butter and heat up.
- Bake the waffles slowly.
- Finally, sprinkle the coffee waffles with powdered sugar and serve garnished with fruit or syrup of your choice.
