Kaiserschmarrn from the hot air fryer

Ingredients
Ingredients for 2 portions
- 75 g flour, type 405
- 140 ml milk
- 2 eggs (M)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp poppy seeds
- 70 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 20 g butter
- 20 g powdered sugar, for serving
Preparation
- Grease an ovenproof dish (18-20 cm diameter) with the butter.
- Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with half the sugar until stiff.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Carefully fold in the egg white and sugar mixture and pour the mixture into the greased oven dish.
- Sprinkle the mixture with a little powdered sugar and bake (depending on the size of the tin) at 180 °C for about 12-15 minutes in the SEVERIN Multi-Hot Air Fryer.
- Divide the Kaiserschmarrn into diamonds with a knife or shred with a fork and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Tip: Serve with hot cherries, red fruit jelly or rum raisins.
