Berry jam
This delicious berry jam is a real treat and tastes wonderful on bread, rolls or as a filling for pastries. The mixture of different berries makes it not only fruity and sweet, but also easy to prepare.

- 250 g strawberries
- 250 g raspberries
- 250 g blueberries
- 250 g blackberries
- 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation
- Wash the berries, drain and chop as required.
- Place the berries, preserving sugar and lemon juice in a large pan and mix well.
- Bring the berry and sugar mixture to the boil while stirring and boil for 4 minutes until bubbling.
- Do a gelling test: Place a small spoonful of jam on a cold plate. If the mixture sets, the jam is ready. If not, leave to cook a little longer.
- Immediately pour the hot jam into prepared, sterilized jars, seal tightly and turn upside down for 5 minutes.
- Turn the jars upside down and leave to cool completely.
