Granita di Caffè – FILKA Drink
Granita di Caffè is an Italian coffee specialty. It looks like an ice cream sundae, but is actually frozen coffee. A delicious dessert that is quick and easy to make. As it is a cold dessert, it can also be prepared the day before - buon appetito.

- 500 ml black coffee
- 5 tbsp sugar (depending on taste)
- 200 ml whipped cream
Preparation
- First prepare the coffee and place in a suitable container to cool.
- Stir in the sugar well so that it tastes good even when frozen.
- Place in the freezer to freeze.
- Stir occasionally during freezing to prevent a block of ice from forming.
- Taste in between and sweeten if necessary.
- Leave in the freezer for approx. 3 to 4 hours.
- Beat the whipped cream until stiff.
- Divide the Granita di Caffè between 4 flat glasses and top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream.
