Passion tea cocktail

Whether with a shot of rum or without any alcohol at all, this fruity drink tastes good to almost everyone. Passion fruit and lime on a peppermint tea base. See for yourself and enjoy your homemade drink.

Passion tea cocktail
- 300 ml ginger ale
- 100ml passion fruit juice
- 50 ml lime juice
- 100 g brown sugar
- 10 g peppermint tea
- 1 passion fruit
- Mint
- Crushed ice
- Optional 250 ml brown rum
Preparation
- Pour the tea mixture into the tea strainer, bring to the boil with 750 ml water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Pour the finished tea into a carafe, add the sugar, passion fruit juice and lime juice, stir and chill.
- Halve the passion fruit and scrape out the pith. Wash the mint, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks.
- Add the passion fruit pulp and ginger ale and, if necessary, the rum and mix.
- Pour ice into glasses and top up with cocktail.
