Virgin Cherry Mojito

  • 100 g fresh cherries (approx. 14-16 pieces), washed & pitted
  • 300 ml mineral water
  • 2 organic limes
  • 4 sprigs of mint
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar or sugar syrup

Preparation

  1. Rinse the limes in hot water and pat dry. Wash the mint and shake dry, roughly chop the cherries.
  2. halve and squeeze 1 lime. Cut off two slices for decoration and set aside. Cut the second lime into eighths and add to the shaker with the lime juice.
  3. place 8 plucked mint leaves and cane sugar in the shaker and crush well with the pestle. Put the tips of the mint leaves to one side.
  4. Place the ice cubes in the blender jug, close tightly and process to crushed ice.
  5. Divide the cherry and lime mixture between two glasses and fill with crushed ice. Stir the contents of the glass with a spoon and top up with mineral water.
  6. Garnish with mint and lime slices and serve.
