Fruity cheeseburger with apple
The basic ingredients for a hamburger are 100% beef, burger buns and a good sauce. In this case, I bought ready-made hamburger patties from my butcher. All the other ingredients can be added and changed without limit. That's what makes hamburgers so special. Melt a slice of cheese on the meat and the "cheeseburger" tastes different. The slight sweetness of the apple goes perfectly with the other ingredients and rounds off the taste perfectly.

Preparation
Prepare a fruity cheeseburger with apple
Preparing a cheeseburger couldn’t be easier. The ingredients such as gherkins, tomatoes and apple are cut into thin slices. Either have the baker bake the burger buns or bake them yourself.
- The SEVERIN SEVO GTS is preheated to 500°C.
- Then place the meat patties on top. After approx. 3 minutes, turn the meat and add a slice of cheese to each patty. Simply close the lid of the grill so that it melts nicely. This automatically reduces the temperature to 320°C.
- Cut the burger buns in half and place them cut-side down so that they are slightly toasted. This prevents the buns from soaking up the meat juices and also keeps them warm. Fry the apple slices on both sides and the fruity cheeseburger is ready to assemble.
- First place the lettuce on the bottom bun, then the meat including cheese, apple slices, tomato, cucumber and fried onion on top. Finally, add some BBQ sauce and place the bun lid on top.
