For the topping
- 8 slices of cheese

Preparation
- Place the minced beef in a large bowl. Add the egg, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix everything well until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
- Shape the minced meat mixture into small patties that are slightly larger than the mini burger buns, as they will shrink slightly during frying.

- Cut the burger buns in half and toast briefly in a pan or in the oven until crispy.
- Place a lettuce leaf, a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato on the bottom half of the bun. Place the fried patty and a slice of cheese on top. Spread with ketchup and mayonnaise as desired. Place the top half of the bun on top.
- Serve the mini burgers immediately or keep them warm in the oven until ready to eat.
