Baked bananas in batter from the hot air fryer
A delicious way to enjoy ripe bananas: Bananas wrapped in batter from the hot air fryer. This quick and easy recipe combines the natural sweetness of the banana with a crispy batter coating that is perfectly cooked in the air fryer. Ideal as a dessert or sweet snack between meals - try it out and let yourself be enchanted by this delicious treat!

Ingredients
Ingredients for 4 portions
- 1 medium-sized piece of ginger
- 350ml orange juice
- 4 ripe bananas
- 8 sheets of filo pastry (from the chiller cabinet)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
- Peel the ginger, dice very finely and heat in a pan with the orange juice.
- Melt the butter in a second pan.
- Peel the banana. Brush one sheet of pastry with butter, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and place a second sheet of pastry on top, also brushing with butter. Place a banana on top of the pastry and roll up, folding the ends inwards. Brush the finished roll with butter. Do the same with the remaining bananas and pastry sheets.
- Bake the banana dough rolls at 180 °C in the air fryer for approx. 6 minutes.
- Serve with orange sauce.
