Bratwurst with plum glaze

Bratwurst with plum glaze
- 1 kg sausages
- 100 g stewed plums
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the grill to 150 °C.
- Mix the plum compote with the balsamic vinegar, thyme and pepper in a pan and simmer for approx. 5 minutes while stirring. Keep half of the glaze in a bowl.
- Grill the sausages for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Brush the sausages with the plum glaze from the pan approx. 5 minutes before the end of grilling. Serve the cooked sausages with the remaining glaze.
