Breakfast bowl with ham, cheese and egg from the microwave
Melted cheese, crispy bacon, fruity tomatoes with green pesto and a soft-boiled breakfast egg? Sounds like the perfect breakfast to me, for which you must spend half an hour in the kitchen preparing everything. But not with our recipe: thanks to the microwave, everything is ready in 6 minutes. The ideal start to the day!

Breakfast bowl with ham, cheese and egg
- 2 thin slices of bacon
- 1 tbsp grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp green pesto
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- Salt
- black pepper
- fresh basil
Accessories
- Microwave-safe ramekins
- Microwave-safe cling film or microwaveable lid
Preparation
- Place the bacon on the edge of the dish.
- Add the cheese, then add the eggs to the dish and top with pesto.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and add. Season well with salt and pepper.
- Cover the ramekins with microwave-safe cling film or a microwave lid. If cling film is used, it must be pierced so that the hot air can escape.
- Heat at 850 watts for 2 minutes.
- Garnish the breakfast bowl with fresh basil leaves.
