Chocolate cream

Homemade is becoming increasingly popular. Whether it's furniture, decorations or food, such as pesto or lentil spread, people no longer often reach for the ready-made jar in the store. Dear Lara has already shown you our recipe for a lentil spread. (To the recipe) Today I'm going to show you another spread for bread - homemade Nutella. Few ingredients, quick to prepare and you know exactly what's in it. Bon appétit.

Chocolate cream
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 150 g hazelnuts, whole
  • 100 g block chocolate
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Preparation

  1. Toast the whole hazelnuts briefly in a pan without fat until they are fragrant.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, set the melted chocolate to one side and keep warm.
  3. Grate the whole hazelnuts between your hands to loosen some of the shell. Place in the food processor in batches and blend until you have a smooth nut paste.
  4. Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla flavoring and oil and mix briefly. Add the melted chocolate and mix again until you have a smooth cream.
  5. Pour the chocolate cream into a clean jar and enjoy the spread.
