Lentil spread
- 150 g raw yellow lentils
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Cook the lentils according to the packet instructions and leave to cool.
- Peel and roughly chop the garlic clove.
- Mix the lentils and garlic and blend. Quick and easy with a food processor, blender or hand blender.
- Add the spices and puree again. Tip: If the mixture is too firm, add a little more water.
- Chill the spread and leave to infuse for a few hours.
