London Fog Earl Grey Latte
The feel-good drink for all cold winter days: the London Fog Earl Grey Latte. With aromatic Earl Grey tea, sweet vanilla flavor and floral lavender, the drink is perfect for a quiet moment to switch off - and the milk foam topping makes it a great alternative to a latte macchiato. London Fog Earl Grey Latte
- 300 ml water
- 3 tea bags Earl Grey tea (alternatively 3 teaspoons loose tea)
- 320 ml milk of your choice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp dried lavender + more for garnish
Preparation
- First prepare the tea. Heat the water to 100 °C using a kettle or tea maker. Pour water over Earl Grey and lavender and leave to infuse for 8 minutes.
- Froth the milk with a milk frother until hot.
- Sieve the lavender flowers out of the tea. Stir in the sugar and vanilla extract. Divide the tea between two cups and pour over the milk foam. Garnish with lavender.
